

For over 35 years Fujitsu has been cooling and heating homes with ductless air conditioners and heat pumps. Today, Fujitsu makes some of the worlds most energy efficient ductless mini-splits with up to 27.2 SEER. ductless.ca carries Fujitsu's full line of Halcyon™ ductless mini-splits with 11 ENERGY STAR® qualified products for 2012.
Fujitsu Halcyon mini-splits are available in capacities from 9,000 to 48,000 Btu/h and up to eight indoor evaporator units can be connected to one outdoor condensing unit with Fujitsu's Hybrid Flex Inverter Technology. With seven year warranty for compressors, five years for parts and five years for labour (through ductless.ca), Fujitsu provides excellent support for their ductless mini-splits.

All Fujitsu Halcyon ductless mini-split air conditioners and heat pumps include long-life ion deodorizing filters. These decompose absorbed odors through oxidation and reduces the effects of ions generated by the ultra fine ceramic. In addition, apple catechin filters absorb dust and inhibit the growth of mold and microorganisms through static electricity.

By utilizing inverter circuits in many of their ductless units, Fujitsu is able to provide optimum power control and very efficient operation. The capacity of the system is dependent on the temperature of the area. As soon as the air conditioner is turned on, the inverter provides the power needed to rapidly cool the area. When maximum capacity is not needed, the energy usage of the system is decreased resulting in increased system efficiency.

The Halcyon's Energy Savings Program (ESP) system knows how to save you money even when you forget! If you leave the room without turning the unit off, ESP knows that you left and 20 minutes later the temperature is increased by 2.5 °C when cooling and reduced by 5 °C when heating. It returns to previous operating mode when you come back. This prevents wasteful operation to save energy without you having to think about it.

Fujitsu utilizes R-410A which is a zero ozone depleting refrigerant for all of their Halcyon ductless models in accordance with the Montreal Protocol.

Easier to use than most TV remotes, the included wireless controllers feature large and easy-to-read displays and lets you adjust fan speeds and output modes from anywhere in the room.

Fujitsu's Hybrid Flex Inverter System (HFI) is a combination of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and typical inverter multi-zone systems. Fujitsu utilized this system in their 9,000 to 24,000 RLFW and RLXFW single zone and 18,000 to 48,000 Btu RLXFZ multi zone systems.
