Vitosol 300

The Vitosol 300 is a vacuum tube solar collector. The vacuum tubes have insulating qualities that produce excellent results in cold weather and windy conditions. This is also the most environmentally-friendly method of domestic hot water heating, as well as a backup/supplement for low-temperature heating purposes.

Thanks to the highly effective Sol-Titan coating, the vacuum tube collector Vitosol 300-T can even utilize diffused solar radiation. It is therefore suitable not only for domestic hot water applications, but also as a backup for central heating purposes.

Solar System Packages

Single-Tank System

When integrating a solar system into a new home or a home with an existing hot water heating boiler, a single-tank system is typically used.

This system uses a dual coil tank where from the solar collector(s) is transferred to the domestic hot water via the lower coil, and backup heat is supplied as required by a boiler via the upper coil.

Retrofit Preheat System

With a retrofit preheat system, solar is easily integrated into virtually any existing domestic hot water heating system.

This system uses a single-coil solar tank connected to the collectors. The collectors preheat the water in the solar tank, which is then fed into the existing hot water tank or instantaneous hot water heater.
