Vitocell tanks are available in vertical and horizontal designs, for placement beside or underneath a boiler, from 160 to 450 litres (42 to 120 gallons). The Viessmann Vitocell 100 series domestic in-direct fired hot water tanks are the economical choice for reliable and efficient hot water production. A boiler, such as the Viessmann Vitodens is required for hot water production.

The Vitocell 100-V hot water tanks are single coiled while the Vitocell 100-B are dual-coiled for solar heating applications in conjunction with solar collectors and a heating boiler.

Corrosion protected domestic hot water tanks made of steel with additional Ceraprotect two coat enamel finish which protects all interior surfaces. The base layer provides a solid bond between the steel construction and the enamel finish and the second layer protects the tank from corrosion.
